Lenovo is disclosing the new Thinkpad Family:

News Content:
The new names will all be compatible with the existing options. The corresponding names will be:
- T61 --> T400 (14") ou T500 (15")
- T61p --> W500 (15") ou W700 (17")
- R61 --> R400 (14") ou R500 (15")
- X61 --> X200 (12") et X300 (13"). To be noticed that the X200 will be a 12" Wide Format. The Tablet and “s” models will still be available.

The dedicated graphic cards (--> AMD v5700 512 MB) will disconnect automatically when on Battery mode. In this case le Laptop will use its On Board Card to save Energy.
Also a new "Silent Mode" will be installed on the new machines that will automatically regulate the level of Chip Processing in relation to the noise of the Fan.
To be noticed also :
-A new display Port HD format will be available on the T500 and W500.
-The 14" screens will be retro-lighted with LED.
-The hard disks will have up to 320 Go, 128 for the SSD.
-The series R61e, R61i and Lenovo 3000 will be replaced by a new line : SL 300 (13"), SL 400 (14"), SL 500 (15").

Finally Lenovo will launch by the end of the Year an new Entry Line (type EEE PC) with 8.9" and 10.2" Models based on Linux and the Intel ATOM Processor..
